Why We Started Our Olive Oil Journey

Why We Started Our Olive Oil Journey

For as long as I can remember, olive trees have been part of my life. I grew up on our family farm in Laconia, Greece, spending weekends with my grandfather, walking the groves, learning the rhythm of the land. Since I was four years old, I’ve watched us plant new trees every seven years—a tradition rooted in patience and hope for the future. Now, at thirty-six, I’m proud to carry on that work and share what our family has been enjoying for generations.

We’ve been shipping our olive oil to friends and family in the U.S. for years. The response was always the same: “This is incredible. You need to offer this to more people.” So, we decided to do just that.

Our olive oil is extra virgin and comes from a single farm—our own. That means full control over quality, from harvest to bottling. The result is fresh, pure, and deeply flavorful.

But more than flavor, olive oil is a foundation of something much bigger—the Mediterranean diet. This way of eating, rich in healthy fats, vegetables, grains, and lean proteins, is consistently recommended by nutritionists around the world. It’s not just a trend; it’s a time-tested lifestyle.

In places like Ikaria in Greece and Okinawa in Japan—two of the world’s “Blue Zones,” where people live significantly longer lives—olive oil plays a central role in daily meals. It’s known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and supports heart health, brain function, and longevity.

We’re proud of the land we work, the tradition we carry, and the quality we produce. And we’re excited to bring our olive oil—pure, honest, and grown with care—from our farm in Laconia to your table.
